Bhagavad Gita is an ancient Hindu scripture that consists of 700 shlokas (maxim). It has been described as the "Heart-Code" of the Bhagavad Gita. It is considered by many scholars to be one of the greatest religious books ever written. It is a holy scripture for all religions and has been widely accepted as a sacred text by various sects and denominations.
The book consists of the speeches of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Lord Krishna. In it, the Lord discusses the subject of spiritual knowledge and reveals the nature of God. The Lord describes the science of spiritual realization and the means by which one can realize their spiritual nature. The book contains many of the most important teachings and concepts of Hinduism.
